Job Description:
VTR(UK) is seeking several First Article Inspectors (FAIs) in or near Wolverhampton, UK. This position will be 5 days per week for the next 3-6 months.
Requirement:
First Article to be performed in accordance with AS9102 current revision
· Demonstrate knowledge of interpreting drawings and model based definition(3D)
· Demonstrate knowledge of measuring and test equipment
· Demonstrate knowledge of Geometric, dimensioning and tolerance
· Demonstrate evidence of product specific knowledge and experience as required
· Demonstrate evidence of more than 1 year in the last 5 years of aerospace inspection experience
· Demonstrate knowledge of computer skills in recent versions of Microsoft Excel and word programs
· Possess certain industry acceptable and applicable physical qualifications such as: visual acuity, colour recognition and hearing
· Demonstrate an understanding and use of AS9102 current revision
· Have completed at least 4 First Article inspections
