For anybody that's interested, the aircraft being used for the certification process is N389AA.

I never thought a -300 could look so damn good!  I just hope that APB decide to do a retro-fit for the 767-200 now....

Well...I don't wish to offend Boeing, but to be frank, I think they look 'orrible!

We did not have them on DC-3s, Viscounts and F-27s and we managed just

fine thank you very much. And don't those powerplants seem to be far too

close to the ground? Will they perhaps be fitted with dinky little wheels in

order to cope with the really hairy-chested crosswinds that we consider

normal down here in New Zealand. Are Air New Zealand chappies noting

    this???

Do excuse my reply to oneself for I became confused. I read 787 at top of page and became fixated on this alleged new aeroplane. So kindly belay my ill-informed comments. But thinking of the venerable 767, one wonders why it did not have winglets eons ago? There is a reason no doubt; but I do not know it. Just think of all the fuel that might have been saved. (I really must cease this habit of chatting to oneself.)

Carry on chaps...at ease...feel free to talk amongst yourselves.
