Most Brides, enjoy their big day and it is often a key part of the day when a woman throws her bouquet, with tradition suggesting the woman who catches the bouquet will be the next to marry. However, this moment was not a good one for a bride in Italy.
Corriere della Sera reported, that the bride and groom at an Italian Wedding had hired microlight plane to fly past and throw the bouquet to a line of women guests but in disaster, the flowers caused the planes to crash.
How? I hear you ask.Well the flowers were sucked into the planes engine which unfortunately caused the engine to catch fire and explode.
This caused the accident to happen at Montioni park in Suvereto, near Livorno, where the wedding reception was being held.
As the engine exploded, the aircraft plunged into a nearby hostel but luckily no one in the hostel died and neither did the pilot. However, one passenger from the plane was badly injured.
The man who got injured, was Isidoro Pensieri (44) and it was him who had the job of throwing the bouquet. It is believed that as pilot Luciano Nannelli flew past, and the bouquet was thrown, the flowers got tangled and sucked into the engine. Unfortunately Mr Pensieri multiple fractures and a head injury. He was taken to hospital in Grosseto by helicopter and then transferred to another in Pisa.
It was a miracle that no one was killed in this terrible moment for both Bride, Groom and all related. Flight wishes Mr Pensieri a speedy recovery and the Bride and Groom a good life together despite there tragic end to the day.
