AirAsia Bhd, Asia’s biggest discount carrier, may order 25 to 30 A320 Airbus planes within three to four months as air travel in the region continues to grow, Chief Executive Officer Tony Fernandes said. “I’m evaluating whether we look at another 25 to 30 more A320s,” the CEO told journalists in Paris. The decision will be taken to the company’s board and made “within the next three to four months.” “Our present order book we are looking at extending, increasing the number per year, which means that there will be a gap; if we take 22 or 23 aircraft a year, we will fullfill our 175 order,” he said.“Our growth will probably exceed the aircraft that we have right now.”
