Big news on Flight Global this morning about Airbus changing its flightdesk design, presumably to integrate newer technologies and to try and match other configurations (such as the 787). My question though is it necessary, as you have to train pilots up into using the new design when it's finished and to me it seems like keeping thing consistant goes along way in this market?
