We have staged a virtual Airline World Cup, with each nation participating in the real thing in South Africa represented by their largest carrier (e.g. Germany=Lufthansa). The results of the tournament saw a final between South Korea’s Korean Air and the US giant American Airlines.

But which do you think is the World Cup winning airline carrier. Which do you think would lift the cup and which would be left lagging  in the group stages?

Lousy article, lousy formulae for establishing the winner. American which I fly regularly has one of the worse counter, reservations and onboard service specially within the US, it is a bit better in overseas trips and this soooo important element was no includided in the Kaminsky formula. Have you not noticed that Singapore, Cathay, Lufthansa and a very few others carry home year after year the banner for being the best airlines in the world. Shame on you. You got to improve.

Apologies if you didn't enjoy the experience but it was meant as a bit of fun and the formulae embraced the randomness that World Cup's bring. It isn't an official table and there are more official airliner awards already, so enjoy them.
