American Airlines unveiled a new livery for its aircraft on Thursday morning, the first redesigned look for the Fort Worth-based carrier since 1968. AMR CEO Tom Horton unveiled the look online in a four minute video just before 9:00 a.m.
They must have lots of money when they are in bankruptcy protection. To repaint 600+ aircraft cant be cheap.
There will no longer be an aluminum skin showing, as the new B-787 is made of composite material and will have to be painted...if you do not want the ghastly green colour.
