Boeing 787 launch customer All Nippon Airways expects to take delivery of seven Dreamliners before the end of 2011.

ANA Chairman and CEO Shinichiro Ito said the two aircraft that have been delivered to date will be accompanied by a further five by the end of December.

Ito's comments came at a press conference immediately prior to the airline's first revenue flight from Tokyo-Narita airport.

ANA anticipates taking delivery of 11 787s by the end of its financial year ending March 2012, with 20 arriving the following year.

Programme sources confirmed the airframer plans to deliver eight 787s before the end of 2011, with the remaining airframe going to Air India.
