ANA is concerned about the impact that aircraft weight is having on carbon emissions and has come up with a new solution of dealing with it.

They have placed reminder notices on airport gates for people to go to the loo before boarding, and they have introduced "loo attendents" to ask people whether they need the loo before they travel. They hope that by doing this, they can reduce carbon footprint by reducing the weight of excrement being carried.

A good idea or are they taking the piss, you decide?
