It seems like the incident that happened near St Louis seemed to be a little more serious than Midwest Airlines said it was according to this audio.
It is quite funny when the pilot mentions that Sen Obama is on the aircraft. I half expect a big gulp sound from the ATC tower. Also, when he asks for the biggest runway!!!
