Dublin based aircraft lessor, AWAS, announced today that it has delivered a Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft to Solaseed, the established Japanese airline formerly known as Skynet Asia. This is the second 737-800 delivery from AWAS to Solaseed. This aircraft will be the twelfth in their fleet, and their second 737NG as they transition to an all modern 737-800 fleet. This second B737-800 airplane is planned to serve the Haneda to Kyushu route beginning in November as well as Haneda to Miyazaki. Solaseed’s initial 737-800 has been successfully serving Kumamoto, Nagasaki, Kagoshim and Oita destinations.
