Dublin based Lessor, AWAS, delivered two Airbus A319’s to airblue, an international scheduled airline, based in Pakistan.

The aircraft will operate on several of the airlines established routes within and outside of Pakistan.

“The addition of these 2008 vintage AWAS A319’s is a significant stride towards our refleeting strategy to newer aircraft as we seek to create the best possible travel experience for our customers. The recent vintage of these aircraft will improve our overall efficiency and product offering” said Tariq Chaudhary, Chief Executive Officer of airblue.

“airblue is a new customer to AWAS, and we are delighted to lease these two young A319’s to a strong growing airline like airblue.  Indeed, as airblue’s business and route network expands in the years ahead, AWAS looks forward to further supporting airblue with aircraft that will fuel their growth” stated Ray Sisson, President & CEO of AWAS.
