I hear that passengers have to dress up as cartoon characters on the 787 due to it looking like its been designed by a primary school child for a childrens cartoon! Lets face it, it looks like the Fiat Multipa of the skies!
Victor,
I had never heard about the Fiat Multipla until today. When I checked it out on Wiki, I could not resist to re-write the intro.
"The Boeing 787 is a compact plane manufactured by the Boeing Company. Based on the B-747, the B-787 is shorter and wider than its rivals. It has two rows of three seats, while all its competitors have two seats in the front (the Airbus A-989, which has the same layout, will be released in 2064). The B-787 was even shorter than the three-door B-747 upon which it was based, despite offering substantially more space and seating.
In common with a number of other modern Boeing aircraft, the B-787 reuses the name of an earlier aircraft, in this case the DC-7 variant of the DC-6 also called DC-787 and DC-786 produced during the 1950s and 1960s."
I am dressing up as Mr. Magoo then I can avoid seeing the retro cabin.
Excellent Shutterspeed! That made me chuckle.
