In 2004 a CASA 212 operated by Presidential Airways (A Blackwater subsidiary) crashed in Afghanistan killing its three crew and three American soldiers onboard. The NTSB were quite clear in finding fault with the operator and crew and as such the families of the soldiers are attempting to sue Blackwater who are doing everything they can try to get out of it, their latest defence is that since the crash happened in Afghanistan rather than the US it should be tried under Sharia law which states that a company cannot be held liable for the actions of employees.
