The mystery buyer of an Airbus A380 has been identified by a French newspaper as French newspaper as Roman Abramovich, owner of Chelsea football club and Russia's richest man with a fortune of $18.7bn (£9.4bn).
If I had that amount of money I wouldn't buy an A380. But then Abromovich also has a yacht or two.
I think if i had as much money as Abramovich i'd consider either renovating an old classic or design a really ostentacious new plane, and just make a fleet of say two or three of them. Call them the Romans or something...
At the moment his main toy is a rather modest Boeing 767-300, registered P4-MES, often seen parked up at Luton, will his A380 go in there? I'd like to see it turn round at the end of the Luton runway...

I like the livery on that 767, painting an A380 like that might even make it less than butt-ugly.
My wings are like a shield of steel.
Abromovich's spokesman says he hasn't bought an A380.
But I bet he's tempted!
