Cessna Aircraft Co. announced Friday that it’s reached an agreement with AirSprint Private Aviation in Calgary, Alberta, for at least nine Citation CJ2+ business jets.The planes retail at $6.695 million each. The deal, at list prices, is valued at more than $60 million. The company took delivery of the first CJ2+ earlier this week.AirSprint is Canada’s largest fractional ownership provider, according to Cessna. The company will use the Citations to grow its fractional services in North America. It also will replace its current fleet of Pilatus PC-12 turboprops as it takes delivery of the remaining eight planes over the next 24 to 30 months. “Our clients are very pleased with the balance of range, speed and efficiency that the CJ2+ offers as an alternative to our current fleet of Pilatus PC-12 turboprop aircraft,” Chris Richer, AirSprint president, said in a statement.
