Chinese representatives including the Air China Cargo Director will arrive in Ul'yanovsk on Monday 27th October to commence taking delivery of the 5 TU-204-120CE's which were ordered back in 2001 through Sirocco Aerospace of Egypt. The 120CE version is a Cargo modification of the TU-204 and is fitted with Rolls Royce RB211-535 motors.

It seems delivery of these aircraft has been delayed for many months whilst Tupolev was completing the European Certification process. They finally achieved certification on October 8th and it appears the Chinese are now prepared to accept delivery. It is not clear how many of the 5 ordered are ready for delivery.
