I have heard sketchy reports that a Sabreliner has crashed on takeoff  in Mexico, with nine people feared dead. Apparently it blew a tire when attempting to take off from the western coastal city of Culiacan.

Has anybody heard anything more? I haven't heard anything about a Sabreliner for a while...

It was XA-TFL (c/n 265-48), operated by Jett Paqueteria.  Blew a tyre during takeoff.

The 3 crew are confirmed fatal, plus 6 others on the ground due to the aircraft ploughing across a freeway before coming to rest.

So sad the loss of life. thoughts go out to all involved

Apparently the reports say this was a cargo flight

Jett Paqueteria has been very unlucky they lost at least five aircraft in June 2003 when a hangar roof collapsed and this is their third Sabreliner hull loss since September 2004.
