Thank God we finally got the ***.  The world is a better place without him.

Now the question is how to proceed with our "ally" Pakistan.  It seems very clear that for over 5 years elements of Pakistani security forces helped to shield Bin Laden from the US.  They seem to have made a strategic decision to keep their ties with terrorist groups.  Unfortunately, there are no easy answers.

Goose:
what appears to be a Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter

From pictures showing up on the net it doesn't look to be a Black Hawk at all... hey guys what kind of beast is that?? Indifferent

Maybe you are right Goose, the pictures show a wreak ... but the rotor head I've seen on a picure (probably a tail rotor), apart from the dishpan you mention, show a strange  the blade spacing for a Blackhawk, they let me think to a 5 or more blades rotor hub. To me looks a fenetron, quite similar to the one of the RAH-66 Comanche.

It is ok to change the fuselage shape, boom, fairings, dishpan over rotor heads, but changing the rotor(s) is getting quite a modification to stealth a Blackhawk....

I for one won't be speculating on what this may or may not be...do you guys also want a Navy Seal team turning up unannounced in your bedroom ? Lightning

Check out Flightglobal's dream team combination on this: Stephen Trimble tells you what the aircraft was, while graphics editor Gareth Burgess has created a 3D graphic which lets you see that whacky tail section from all angles. Enjoy!

While it sounds like a good story , I just can't see an Army unit making these kind of very significant modifications to the aircraft (if it is an MH60K). I may be wrong and if they have , well done. This looks more like something from Skunk works , than a local modification.

The helicopter might have crashed but the mission is in success. One of the details that emerged about the raid in Abbottobad that killed Bin Laden was that the name “Geronimo” was used in connection with the operation. Regardless of whether it referred to bin Laden or some other use for it, one thing is clear. Indians are not pleased with the usage. Some think it's just another in a long line of insults by the American government toward the Indians. There is not an installment loan large enough to cover this one up. Don't get me wrong, I think the mission as a whole was incredibly well planned and executed, and I have nothing but admiration for the Navy Seals who carried it out - but a little common sense in that aspect would not have gone awry.

Well though he is a bad guy for some of us and most of us want him to be dead there is also people who are supporting bin Laden. That's why there will be  a film for this very famous killer on earth. Hollywood and the White House are in the middle of partisan bickering on Capitol Hill due to an upcoming movie about the raid that murdered Osama bin Laden. Oscar-winning director of “The Hurt Locker,” Kathryn Bigelow, is said to have been privy to inside details about the raid, which she and the White House denies happened. Here is the proof: White House denies sharing inside info for bin Laden film

Osama bin Laden was not murdered.  He was an enemy combatant killed in combat, which was a lot better than he deserved.

It was a crime to kill an unarmed man, then abduct the body, take it across international state lines then dispose of the evidence into the Ocean.

Try new kitchen cabinet which are now available at an affordable price..
