Central European carrier Czech Connect Airlines (CCA) has taken delivery of its second Boeing 737-400 OK-CCB c/n 24813 aircraft and is starting services to Geneva and Athens.
It has previously concentrated on a series of routes linking the Czech Republic with Russia.
CCA said that the 2 June arrival of a leased Boeing 737-400, formerly operated by Aegean Airlines, has allowed it to start a four times weekly Prague-Geneva service and to add a twice-weekly Prague-Athens service from 23 June.
The Ostrava-based carrier was previously known as Central Connect Airlines but rebranded itself as Czech Connect in late 2010.
In March 2011, CCA began Boeing 737-300 services from Brno to Moscow Domodedovo as well as an initial weekly flight linking Brno with St Petersburg. The St Petersburg service will become twice-weekly on 17 August.
It also operates a weekly Karlovy Vary-Ekaterinburg service and plans a weekly summer season sector from Pardubice to Moscow Domodedovo from 25 June.
