Did USAF sponsor the Transformers movie?

Having watched the Transformers movie last night I'm convinced it's nothing more than a big advert for the US Air Force.

From what i can remember the following aircraft were featured to varying degrees:

    V-22 Osprey
    F-117 Stealth Fighter
    A-10 Tankbuster
    F-22
    C-17
    AC-130 Gunship
    E3 AWAC
    UH-60 Black Hawk
    MQ-9 Predator UAV
    and Air Force One

That's quite a lot for a movie essentially about robots.

As I recall it got a huge amount of help from the DoD, I believe it was the first movie to film at the Pentagon since September 11th. If you go to www.af.mil and do a search on 'Transformers' you should get some hits.
