Anyone seen this? it seems like groundhog day.

The French Authorities have put Continental and 5 individuals on trial because they say that Continental is responsible for the metal strip Concorde ran over before taking off and crashing. Continental say that Concorde was on fire BEFORE it hit the metal strip.

So what actually went wrong on that day to F-BTSC, will all of this come out in the trial, or will they still blame the metal strip that fell off the Continental flight?

Air France to blame?

Faulty maintenance, wheel spacer left of the aircraft

Air France to blame?

Flight crew overloading the aircraft, the flight was over its MTOW

Continental to blame?

Maintenance fitting non standard parts, hence the metal strip falling of the aircraft

Airport to blame?

Cancelling a runway inspection

EADS to blame?

Concorde was prone to tyre burst, should this have been investigated closer
