MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
Despite a trio of blank days near the end, August was still a record month with 56 first visits (35 in the same month last year), the highest August total I have recorded in the last six years. This broke down to 41 airliners, 13 biz jets & a pair of twins. Among our regular carriers, Lufthansa sent us another two A319s, an A320 & two A321s, Air One managed another A320, THY provided an A321 & two B738s, Air China came up with a pair of A330s & another B773, Air Italy, Belavia & JAT each sent a B733, Aerosvit managed a couple of B734s, Air Berlin & Ryanair two & four B738s respectively, while Pegasus also sent two new B738s & Emirates provided two B773s. EasyJet had two more A320s delivered to Gatwick, while other new airliners included an Iberia A319 & A321, an Aeroflot A319 & two A330s, a VIA A320, CSA A320, Orbest A330, Air Italy B737, Omni Air B762 & a TUIfly Nordic B763. Executive airliners were a German A319CJ, & Legacies from the UAE & Switzerland.
Fairly standard fare among the biz jets, with the more interesting being Lear 45 CS-DTL & CL604 9A-CRO. The twins comprised an Italian Avanti & French King Air 350.

Citation 560XL G-WINA (5343) was cancelled from the register yesterday as exported to the USA.

No advanced news for tomorrow at present.
