VISITORS
Two more first visits today so far & a third due later. Thomson A/W B738 G-TAWC (39922) arrived from Manchester early this morning for its first visit & a further B738 making its first appearance was THY example TC-JGD (29788) on the afternoon service from Istanbul. Due later from Seoul is Korean Air B772 HL7526 (27947), also on a first visit.
On its second visit was Lufthansa A319 D-AIBB.

FLEET NEWS
Air Berlin A320 D-ABDX (3995) was ferried from Munich to Ostrava today for painting for Vueling.
Cimber Sterling. No longer one of "our" airlines, but worth mentioning that the carrier ceased trading today.
EasyJet A319 G-EZIG (2460) is to become SP-IBC for OLT Express & is due to be delivered from Southend later this month after painting. A320 G-EZUU (5150) made its first flight today as D-AXAA.
Malev B738 HA-LOM (30672) subsequently registered EI-EWK, was noted at Shannon yesterday in S7 A/L scheme & is to be delivered as VP-BDF for operation by Globus.
Norwegian Air Shuttle B733 LN-KKL (28671) was ferried from Lasham to Southend yesterday prior to return to the lessor. With the B733s slowly leaving the fleet, the current situation should be as follows:

ROUTE NEWS
Caribbean A/L will start its twice-weekly service from Barbados on 30/6.
Ryanair. It will be even busier at LGW on 19/5 as, in addition to the charter flights taking Chelsea FC fans to Munich, Ryanair has announced that it is to fly five extra return services from Dublin to Gatwick for fans attending the all-Ireland Heineken Cup Final between Leinster & Ulster.
