VISITORS
No new airliners today, but arriving this morning on their first visits were PA-42 Cheyenne D-IAAE (5501047 ex I-TRER) registered to Air Alliance & BD700 N711LS (9155) of Red Line Air. Note - a BD700 registered N711LS visited Gatwick on 21/11/03, but that was c/n 9035.
Afriqiyah made a welcome restart today, though using an A320 leased from Air Moldova.
Second visits were made by Augsburg A/W E190 D-AEMF & THY B738 TC-JGV.
Scrub Air China A332 B-6073 from yesterday's list of first visits - it made its debut on 29/6! A failure on my part to update my records. Also, thanks to Mike hooker for pointing out that D-AEMF is actually an E190, even though most others in that batch are E195s.

FLEET NEWS
Emirates B773 A6-EGU (41079) made its first flight yesterday.
Norwegian Air Shuttle. As expected, B738 LN-NGB (39015) arrived at  Oslo on delivery today.
Thomson A/W. It is now known that A320 G-OOPT (1605), recently cancelled from the register, is to go to Saga A/L as TC-SGN & will be delivered from Kemble in the near future.

ROUTE NEWS
Afriqiyah restarted services from Tripoli to Gatwick today.

MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
Thanks to all of you who wrote in concerning the brightly painted mystery aircraft noses yesterday. We now know that they are located at Pontoon Dock in the Borough of Newham & close to the Pontoon Dock DLR station. Best guess seems to be that they come from BAe146s, but I would be happy to be proved wrong!
