VISITORS
A newcomer arriving late yesterday evening was Citation 510 OE-FZB (0145 ex EI-SFB) of GlobeAir, which hopped down from Luton. Today was rather more interesting & varied than usual. Our first newcomer was Onur Air A321 TC-OBR (1008 ex JA104A, N108DE, AP-BRJ, N108DE), which arrived from Bodrum & was followed this morning by Gulfstream 200 N707BC (107 ex N107GA) of Westwind Acquisitions from Toulouse. The day's third newcomer, arriving this evening, was Gulfstream 450 N451NS (4082) of NetJets Middle East, which was flight planned from Rhodes to Farnborough, & this was followed later by Avion Express A319 LY-VEU (1263 ex N739US, B-6151, N338MS, EI-EWA), which dropped in from Kos, wearing the all-white polar bear scheme beloved by so many of the smaller carriers these days.
A glut of flights by Turkish airliners today, presumably mainly bringing holidaymakers back at the end of the school holidays. Most probably flew back empty to Turkey.
Second visits were made by AtlasJet A321 TC-ETF & Pegasus B738s TC-AIS & TC-ANP. 

FLEET NEWS
Air Hong Kong. It is reported that the carrier is concentrating on developing charter business for the A332 fleet, which is why two of these aircraft have been based here since the end of last month & all three of the all-business class machines were here today.
Flybe has named DH8D G-FLBD "The Mary Peters" after the famous Olympian who won a gold medal in the 1972 Olympics.
