VISITORS
Today's newcomers managed to arrive in the hours of darkness. First of these was Gulfstream 5 N673P (673 ex N282QT) registered to GC Air from White Plains & which also managed to depart while it was still nighttime. The other one was Air China A332 B-6132 (944) on the Beijing service.
Ryanair B738 EI-EVN made its second, third, fourth & fifth visits today.

FLEET NEWS
EasyJet A319 G-EZEF (2176), which had been withdrawn from service & parked at Southend, has been returned to service for the summer to give additional coverage. A320 G-EZUX (5138) made its first flight today as D-AVVH.
Norwegian Air Shuttle. The word now is that B733 LN-KKL (28671) is only at Southend for a respray & is not to leave the fleet until August 2014.
Ryanair B738 EI-DHJ (33819) was ferried from Prestwick to Norwich today for painting for a new operator.

ROUTE NEWS
British A/W is to reduce its service from Gatwick to Algiers from daily to five weekly this winter. The third weekly Kingston service introduced this summer will continue during the winter.
US A/W has announced that between 9/10 & 16/12 it will reduce it service from Charlotte to Gatwick from daily to six weekly.
