Lufthansa A319 D-AIBD (4455) made its first visit on the late afternoon Frankfurt service, while due later is Korean Air B772 HL7574 (28444) on its first visit from Seoul.

FLEET NEWS
Malev B737 HA-LOL (29352) was delivered from Shannon to Moscow/Domodedovo for Transaero as EI-EUX on 5/5.
Norwegian Air Shuttle B738 LN-DYZ (39013) made its first flight yesterday. Further to Wednesday's roundup & despite the information coming from a reliable source, it transpires that B733s LN-KHB (29264) & LN-KKS (24094) are not stored at Oslo. The former is actually still in service, while the latter is currently at Lasham.
Thomson A/W B738 G-TAWJ (38108) is due to arrive at Manchester on delivery on Wednesday (9/5).

MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
Congratulations to our local football team Crawley FC on winning promotion for the second season running & who will now be playing in League One next season.

Crawley Borough Council passed the planning application for the conversion of existing stands to handle A380 traffic on 1/5. Anyone know when this is likely to be operational, please?

My thanks to Julian Gajewski for passing me the following information regarding the Thomson B788s. "The first airplane for Thomson will be ZA317 (LN92) which should start assembly late this year for delivery in January 2013.  This will be followed by ZA318 in February 2013 and ZA319 in March 2013.  The first and third airplanes will be based in Manchester while the second airplane will be based out of Gatwick all to support training and EIS of the company's 787.  These airplanes will carry 291 passengers of which 47 will be premium seating in 38 inch pitch seating while there will be 244 in economy in 36 and 33 inch pitch seats".
