VISITORS
Air Nostrum CRJ-900 EC-JTT (15074) made a surprise first visit to Gatwick at lunchtime today. The aircraft had apparently transported the Valencia FC team to Manchester this morning as ANE2434 for a pre-season friendly against Manchester United FC. It was routing to Barcelona when it popped in to Gatwick today &, although scheduled, the reason for this stop is not known. It is due back at Manchester this evening as ANE2435 & will depart at 00.30 taking Valencia FC home. My thanks to Paul Mutton for the detail & also to all those who took the trouble to confirm that Citation 510 G-NGEL did indeed make a first visit to Gatwick yesterday evening.
For those interested in Cubana Il-96s, today's example is stranded here awaiting parts from Cuba.

Belavia. Further to Monday's roundup, the prospective B735 EW-290PA (27629) routed from Miami to Gander & Keflavik on delivery to Minsk today still as N381LF.
Pegasus B738 TC-AAO (28619) was delivered from Budapest to Istanbul on 30/7. From new with Futura as EC-HLN, this then flew for Ryan International & Futura as N255RY, before joining the Irish register as EI-DJU operating for the same outfits & also for Futura Gael. The airline is also due to receive new-build machine TC-AAN (38173) in October, taking its fleet to two B734s, three B735s & thirteen B738s.
