Transavia B737 PH-XRW (33465) made its first visit this morning.
B744 CP-2603 (32339) finally departed these shores late yesterday evening on delivery to AeroSur as RSU2603. The summer flights are now very much over with no Turkish airliners appearing today compared to seven last Friday.
FLEET NEWS
British A/W B733 G-LGTH (23924), which became N924RM at Bournemouth, had its US registration removed today & LY-AWH applied to the nosewheel door. I would imagine that it is destined for FlyLAL Charters. Catching up with some other pieces of news, B733 G-GFFI (27425) flew its last revenue service on 24/10 as BAW2579 from Turin to Gatwick & is now parked awaiting its fate (reportedly for Astraeus). B744 G-BNLV flew its final revenue service on 26/10 as BAW142 from Delhi to LHR & was ferried to Cardiff as BAW9174 the following day. It is then to be flown to Victorville, CA for further storage. G-BNLD (23911) will be withdrawn later this month. B752 G-BPEI (25806) flew its last revenue service on 30/10 as BAW461 from Madrid to LHR, while G-BPEE (25060) will be withdrawn mid November.
EasyJet. Only delivered to Madrid three days ago, A319 has G-EZFN (4076) has already moved base is now operating out of Stansted. Here's hoping that it transfers to Gatwick in the near future.
Flybe DHC-8 G-PTHC (4276) was reregistered as SX-OBC today. EMB195 G-FBEH (19000128) took the England under 17 football team to Baku, Azerbaijan on 24/10 for some UEFA European Under 17 Championship matches. On the return leg to Birmingham on 31/10 a fuel stop at Hannover had been planned but, in the event, the aircraft managed to complete the flight non-stop in what was a record-breaking 6 hours & 13 minutes.
Ryanair B738s EI-EFW (35018) & EI-EFX (35019) arrived at Dublin on delivery today. EI-EGC (38492) made its first flight yesterday.
Thomson A/W. I was one day out with the departure of B752 C-GTBB (32447) back to Skyservice as it actually left Manchester today as SSV9301 & not yesterday.

MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
During October, easyJet's passenger numbers were up 6.6% on last October, while Ryanair managed a 15% increase.
V Australia (the international arm of Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Blue) is once again talking of possibly starting a non-stop Perth to London service from 2011. The airline currently operates four B773ERs, with three more on order, & is in final negotiations with Boeing for up to seventy aircraft, including six B772LRs. Originally, the airline had planned to start non-stop flights to London with B789s from 2014 but, with deliveries of these running over two years late, V Australia may decide to go ahead using B772LRs, which have the necessary range. One forum is suggesting that the London destination would be Gatwick.
Learjet 45 G-LLOD (236) was cancelled from the UK register yesterday as exported to Mexico.
