Also arriving during the morning was Eclipse 500 N158TE (000058 ex N146DJ) registered to WFBN from Friedrichshafen. It departed during the morning for Kerry before returning from there in the afternoon. This is only the second of these light jets that we have seen here, the other one being EC-LET (000155) on 28/01/11.Making second visits were THY A321 TC-JMI & Lufthansa A319 D-AILS. An unusual visitor these days was Cessna 310R G-EGLT. Although it did visit Gatwick during 1996 at least, the last time it was recorded here was on 26/02/03.FLEET NEWSBritish A/W B734 G-DOCU (25854) was struck by a baggage on the ground at Genoa on 30/4, resulting in a four-foot gash in front of the forward cargo door (through which it seems you can see into the cabin). This is the reason that we have seen Titan A/W aircraft operating some BA flights from Gatwick recently. A temporary hangar has been erected over it while BA & Boeing engineers inspect it to determine whether it is repairable. Cimber Sterling. The part of the business that was making money was that relating to the CRJ2s flying for SAS. As a result, OY-RJA/B/G/H/I have been returned to service on SAS flights.Holidays Czech A/L will shortly add two former CSA A320s to its fleet. OK-LEE (2719) was flown from Prague to Bournemouth for painting into HCA scheme on 27/4 & returned to Prague yesterday. OK-LEF (2758) was ferried from Prague to Norwich today for painting.
