VISITORS
Flyglobespan B737 G-MSJF (30710) was a newcomer that arrived & departed early this morning. Also during the hours of darkness, Shell's very new Falcon 7X VQ-BSO (64) made its first appearance.
Arriving on a first visit late yesterday evening after I had posted the roundup was Premier M-VBBQ (RB-181 ex VP-BBQ), registered to Asia Universal Jet. Another Premier present today was OE-FKW (RB-77), which made a fleeting visit this morning on only its second appearance at Gatwick.

Flybe DHC-8 G-ECOC (4197), currently with Wideroe as LN-WDU, is due to be returned off-lease on 1/12.
Thomas Cook. It looks as though the lease of A321 G-DHJH (1238) to Thomas Cook Scandinavia that I reported on 5/11 must have been very short indeed as it arrived at Gatwick this evening as TCX321P from Banjul.
ROUTE NEWS
None today.
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
A strange tale from the Aviation Herald. Iberworld A333 EC-IJH (072), operating MPD301 on behalf of Air Comet, en route from Madrid to Santa Cruz, Bolivia on 1/11 did not land at Santa Cruz, Bolivia but at Santa Cruz, Canary Islands (otherwise known as Tenerife). The aircraft left after about 17 hours on the ground & the lack of explanation for the diversion from any of the crew has led the passengers to suspect that the crew had confused Santa Cruz, Bolivia with Santa Cruz, Canary Islands!
Early warning. My last roundup for a week will be on 12/11 as I will be in Dubai for the air show.
