VISITORS
It makes a very pleasant change to have some first visits to report today. Five, in fact, which is as many we had seen in the previous twelve days put together! Arriving in the early hours was BD700 VQ-BJA (9268) of Gex Air, from Lagos, which was a Luton diversion & subsequently departed to Farnborough. Other morning arrivals were EasyJet A320 HB-JYE (4006 ex G-EZTN) on the service from Basel & CL604 D-AFAI (5366 ex N604DD, C-066, N604DD, RP-C1397, N604DD, C-GJFC, N906TF) of FAI Airservice, which was a Brize Norton diversion & arrived from Accra. This afternoon saw a first visit from THY A321 TC-JSD (5388) on the run from Istanbul/Ataturk, while an evening newcomer was Beechjet OK-ESC (RK-295) operated by Time Air arriving from Banja Luka

FLEET NEWS
Lufthansa A320 D-AIZO (5441) made its first flight today as D-AVVP.
Pegasus. The delivery flight of B738 TC-CPI (40014) was delayed from yesterday to today. This was the last of the Pegasus order for B738s. An order that passed me by in the run-up to Christmas was for 58xA320neo & 17xA321 from this carrier, which hitherto has always been a Boeing customer. The A320neo order also includes a further 25 options & deliveries are due to start in 2015.
Virgin Atlantic A333 G-VLUV (1206) was ferried to Zurich yesterday from Gatwick where it had been parked since 18/12 when it arrived from Manchester.
Wow Air A320 LY-COS (0415) was noted at Dublin yesterday reregistered as EI-ETM.
