VISITORS
Making its first visit this evening was VistaJet Lear 60 OE-GVG (60-403), while expected later is Meridian-fly A320 I-EEZK (1125 ex HB-IGZ, I-VLEO, I-VLEA) on the delayed service from Florennes, though this may creep into tomorrow's arrivals.
On only its second visit was Jet Time B737 OY-JTY on a charter from/to Billund.

FLEET NEWS
Aerosvit B738 UR-AAN (38119) was ferried from Kiev to Istanbul/Sabiha Gokcen yesterday for transfer to Ukraine International as UR-PSE & returned to Kiev today. UR-AAO (38120) will also transfer to Ukraine International as UR-PSF. All the B763s are to be returned to the lessor & will be replaced by five former Air India B772s, which will join Ukraine International from March onwards.
Afriqiyah A320 5A-ONO (5448) made its first flight today as D-AVVD.
Monarch. The two A320s due for delivery in the spring, G-ZBAA (5526) & G-ZBAB (5581), will have sharklets. The outstanding order for two A321s has been cancelled & two more second-hand A320s will be acquired instead. A320 G-OZBY (1320) entered service at Manchester on 6/1 (note - don't forget to change your SBS database otherwise it will continue to show as G-OOAR).
Norwegian Air Shuttle B738 LN-NIC (38881) made its first flight yesterday (originally reported on the Pugent Sound site earlier today as LN-NGC (39020)).
Thomas Cook B752s G-FCLB (28164) & G-FCLH (26274) are to leave the fleet this winter.
Thomson A/W. Although quoted on several websites as 37241, the correct c/n for G-TAWL is 37243 (source GINFO).
THY B739 TC-JYJ (40986) made its first flight yesterday as N986TK. A321 TC-JSE (5450) made its first flight today as D-AVZX.

MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
Phenom G-NUDD (50000024) was cancelled from the register yesterday as transferred to the USA. Citation 510 G-ZJET (0161), which was cancelled on 19/12, has become F-HEND.

Problems seem to have plagued the B787 since its entry into service, with several high profile customers voicing their dissatisfaction with the aircraft. Now, following a number of well-publicised incidents, the FAA is to undertake a review of the B787 programme. See:

The Meridiana-fly service is, of course, due from Florence & not Florennes!
