VISITORS
More first visits today, starting with Lear 45 C-GMCP (126 ex N420FX, C-FXHN) of Skyservice Business Aviation, which arrived from Keflavik. Our next newcomer was doubtless of more interest to the photographers than the frame collectors & was National A/L B744F N952CA (25238 ex F-GISA, N952CA, TF-NAC), which arrived from Boeing Field at lunchtime with a flap for Virgin before departing to Hahn late afternoon. Slightly more mundane newcomers during the afternoon were Flybe E175 G-FBJF (17000341), which made its first appearance here on a service from Aberdeen (& returned again during the evening), & Citation 680 OE-GEM (0033 ex ZS-JDL, D-CAFÉ) of Jet Pool Network Luftverkehrs, arriving from Chania via Hanover.
On their second visits were Air Explore B734 OM-CEX & Aerosvit B738 UR-AAN.

FLEET NEWS
Air Berlin A320 D-ABNA (5191) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Berlin/Tegel today. B738 D-ABMF (37767) left Boeing Field yesterday on delivery to Berlin/Tegel.
Air One has reportedly received A320 EI-DSX (3643) from Alitalia, though no sign of it at Gatwick so far.
Cimber Sterling B737 OY-MRS (32737 ex G-STRH) is to join SAS as SE-REY.
Norwegian Air Shuttle has ordered a further two B788s, taking its total planned acquisition to 8.
Virgin Atlantic has ordered a further B789, taking its total order for the type to 16.

ROUTE NEWS
Caribbean A/L. It appears that Omni Air International will operate the Gatwick service for the time being.

MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
NetJets has placed an order with Bombardier for a mixture of 100 BD100/CL605s plus options for another 175. Let's hope some of these are used to refresh the European operation.
