VISITORS
Thomson B738 G-TAWB (37242) made its first appearance this morning, positioning in from Manchester to operate a Las Palmas rotation. THY A321 TC-JRF (3207) was the second newcomer at lunchtime today. This takes the total number of THY first visits since the service began on 9/12 to 40 (8xA320, 24xA321, 8xB738). I gather that load factors have been around the 90% mark, hence the decision to launch a second daily service later this year.
As expected, B752 N956FD (29115 ex G-CPET) left this afternoon heading for Victorville, CA via Bangor, ME on delivery to FedEx as FDX9083.
On its second visit was Air Berlin A320 D-ABFU.

FLEET NEWS
Bulgaria Air B733 LZ-BOV (23833) left Sofia today heading for Keflavik & Bangor, ME on return to the lessor.
Malev. It escaped my notice that a 15th B737, HA-LOP (29354), was ferried from Budapest to Shannon on 6/2.
Spanair. The ferry flights listed yesterday were due to take place today, but in the event it seems that the only ones to actually happen were those of EI-EUO to Dublin & EI-EUD/I/J to Perpignan. Of these, EI-EUI went to Perpignan rather than the expected Dublin & EI-EUO was ferried to Dublin rather than the expected Perpignan! Two A320s that are unlikely to be on the move for a while are EC-HRP (1349) & EC-IEJ (1749), which were on maintenance at Ljubljana when the airline collapsed & were registered EI-EUC & EI-EUF respectively today.
Thomson A/W A320 G-OOPP (1571) was ferried from Norwich to Manchester today after painting into Monarch scheme (to become G-OZBW shortly).

ROUTE NEWS
Caribbean Airlines plans to start a service from Port of Spain Piarco to Gatwick in mid June with two former LAN A/L B763s due to be delivered between April and May.

MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
With the last BA B752 having now left the fleet, a list of those flown by the carrier (excluding leased examples) & their current operators appears after today's movements. Good to see that all are still earning their keep despite some being nearly 30 years old.
