VISITORS
Vietnam A/L B772 VN-A150 (35505) made its first visit this morning on the Hanoi run. American A/L B752 N178AA (32398) diverted in from Manchester, which was closed due to snow, & had the honour of being the first American A/L B752 to make an appearance at Gatwick. Also during the morning, we welcomed our second new Phenom 100 of the week, namely OO-OTU (50000243) of Abelag Aviation, which was a Biggin Hill diversion. A fourth newcomer of the day should have been XL A/W France A320 F-GKHK (0343 ex N485GX, G-BWKO, G-UKLK, F-OHFT, OO-TCK) from CDG. It had an eta of 20.00 & may yet turn up?
Making only their second visits today were BD700 D-AXTM & Citation 550 G-EHGW.

FLEET NEWS
Air Berlin B738 D-ABMD (37761) made its first flight today.
Astraeus B752s G-STRX (25621) & G-STRY (28161) were cancelled from the register yesterday as transferred to Ireland.
Jet2 B733 G-GDFB (25743) was withdrawn from service on 6/11, but re-entered service today having been purchased by the carrier from the lessor, AWAS.
Nouvelair A320 TS-INH (4623) was delivered from Toulouse to Monastir today. Beware as this is the second use of the registration on an A320 & the first TS-INH (0157 ex VH-HYK, D-AKFY) is now with Ural A/L as VP-BQZ.
Ryanair B738 EI-ESR (34995 ex N759BA), one of the four that had been stored at Marana, AZ, arrived at Dublin on delivery today. This had been cancelled from the US register on 12/12 as exported to Ireland & the other three have also been cancelled to Ireland as follows:
N760BA/EI-ESS (35033) on 7/12
N761BA/EI-EST (34994) on 8/12
N762BA/EI-ESV (34993) on 9/12
Interestingly, these three were cancelled on the same date that they were ferried from Marana back to Boeing Field.
Thomas Cook B752 G-JMCE B752 (30758) left Manchester today as C-GJZH bound for Toronto/Pearson for Jazz Air lease. A332 G-OJMB (427) was ferried from Abu Dhabi to Manchester today prior to delivery to Air Transat.
Thomson A/W B738 G-FDZG (5139) was registered C-FRZG today on arrival in Canada on lease to Sunwing A/L.
THY B738 TC-JHL (40976) left Boeing Field today on delivery to Istanbul.
Virgin Atlantic A343 G-VHOL (2), which is now registered M-YRGU, was delivered from Lourdes to Tunis today for the previously unheard of Rajshahi Air of Bangladesh.

ROUTE NEWS
Aer Lingus is to increase the frequency of its service from Dublin to Gatwick from 5 to 6 daily from next summer.  
Titan A/W. The Titan flights today are part of a series to Chambery on most Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays until mid April on behalf of subsidiary Snowjet.
