ROUTE NEWS
Clickair. As mentioned a while ago, the Bilbao flight (CLI1255) is moving to LHR from 28th October. However, the news gets worse as it is now known that the Vigo service (CLI3201) will stop completely from 25th October, while the daily Seville rotation (CLI1038) will be reduced to four-times per week (days 1,5,6,7) also from next week.
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
In a recent poll of travellers, Ryanair was voted their least favourite airline for the third year running. At the other end of the list were Virgin Atlantic, BA & Emirates.
Apparently talks between union representatives & Boeing's management have resumed. As a result of the strike, now in its 43rd day, Boeing only delivered twelve aircraft in September - 10xB737s, 1xB747 & 1xB777. By the end of last month, Boeing had delivered 325 aircraft compared to 349 by Airbus.

These NWA B742s were, of course, regular Gatwick visitors in the 1980s & are transporting American football teams to the UK for the NFL game at Wembley. The latest plan is that both aircraft will not now ferry out to Kuwait, but will remain at LGW before departing back to the USA on the 27th.
