VISITORS
Unusual newcomer this morning was French A/F TBM700 93/XL, thought to be from ETM02.040, which visited from Villacoublay. As far as I can tell from my records, this is the first French A/F TBM700 to visit Gatwick, though ALAT examples 100 & 156 have both been to see us in the past. Rather less unusual, but equally welcome, was a first visit from Comlux Aviation BD700 HB-JGN (9249).

FLEET NEWS
Sterling B737 OY-MRC (28006) became N280AG with ACG Acquisitions a week ago & was ferried from Billund to Goose Bay yesterday, still in Sterling scheme.
Thomson A/W B762 G-BYAB (25139) left Luton this morning as TOM9802 for Goodyear via Bangor for parting out. It still wears Garuda tail markings from it Hajj duties, from which it returned to Manchester on 11th January as TOM913 & was then ferried down to Luton on the 16th as TOM9821.

ROUTE NEWS
KD Avia seems to have finally finished its Gatwick service on Sunday, as it didn't operate today.

MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
Bidders for Gatwick Airport are understood to include the operators of London City, Budapest & Chicago/Midway airports. All first round bids are due to be with Ferrovial by next Monday.
