Comlux Aviation Malta A319CJ 9H-AFK (2592 ex HB-IPO, UN-A1901, HB-IPO) positioned over from LHR this morning on its first visit to Gatwick. EasyJet A320 G-EZTM (4014) was delivered to Gatwick this evening.
Unusually, B738s featured on no less than six of today's eight Norwegian Air Shuttle flights.

FLEET NEWS
British A/W A318 G-EUNA (4007) was noted at Finkenwerder in full scheme as D-AUAC on 18/8 & is due to be delivered to Gatwick towards the end of this month (both 28/8 & 31/8 have been quoted).
EasyJet A320 G-EZTM (4014) was delivered to Gatwick from Finkenwerder this evening.

ROUTE NEWS
Daallo A/L is to pull off the Djibouti to Gatwick route, with the last departure scheduled for 16/9 & the last arrival on 18/9. The service is currently operated by Astraeus B752s.
Ryanair announced yesterday that it will launch a daily service from Gatwick to Stockholm/Skavsta (the former Nykoping Air Base) from 5/11. Despite the fact that it is Stockholm's second busiest airport & the third busiest in Sweden, this airport only seems to be served regularly by Ryanair & Wizz Air, with seasonal flights by the likes of Eurocypria, Thomas Cook Scandinavia & Tuifly Nordic. An 80-minute bus journey is required to reach the city. Sounds like a typical Ryanair destination!
