VISITORS
A few extra biz jets today due to fog elsewhere in the southeast, but the only newcomer was Linxair Citation 560XL S5-BDG (5215 ex VP-CPC, N560TH, M-CEXL), which arrived from Geneva.
Making its second visit was Falcon 7X G-CGGN.

FLEET NEWS
Aegean. As this is about to become a "Gatwick airline", it is worth mentioning that it has agreed to buy Olympic Air. The carriers will continue to operate under separate brands & logos.
Strategic A/L. I wish I hadn't started this! I am now told that A320 LX-STA/N209AW (0446) was ferried to Knock & not Kerry.
Virgin Atlantic A333 G-VWAG (1341) positioned from Zurich to LHR this evening.

ROUTE NEWS
Air Berlin. Despite what has already been posted here & elsewhere, the airline's website seems to suggest that the Nuremberg service is to continue. It shows a decrease in the schedule in January, but reverts to 11 weekly from February.
This was brought to my attention by Roy Blewett who has been trawling through the schedules & produced the Gatwick Winter Schedule, which may be found at:
