VISITORS
A new type for us today was B788 N787BX (40692), which arrived from Manchester as part of its European Tour. This is the third prototype & carried out a demo flight this afternoon for the great & the good (I guess your invite & mine must have got lost in the post). It is due to depart to LHR on Friday morning & I suppose I should be making a bit more of a song & dance about its appearance here, but I don't seem to be able to summon up much enthusiasm for this particular aircraft type. Those, however, with more interest in this machine may find a couple of shots taken by Dave Long today at http://www.flickr.com/photos/jumbojet1. Rossiya A319 EI-ETN (1654 ex B-2225), only delivered to the airline six days ago, operated today's service from St Petersburg for the first time.

FLEET NEWS
Air Berlin B738 D-ABKO (37757) left Munich today on delivery to Sunwing A/L as C-GOWG.
EasyJet A319 G-EZID (2442), which became VP-BDY, is now known to be destined for RusLine, not Kuban A/L & a photo may be found on the Skyliner website.
Flybe DH8D G-JEDK (4065) was ferried from Exeter to Maastricht on 23/4 for storage &/or customer preparation.
FreeBird A320 TC-FBO (5096) was delivered from Toulouse to Antalya yesterday.
Hi Fly. The info I was given regarding the reregistration of A345 CS-TFX (912) was premature & it has yet to become 5N-JIA.

Lufthansa A320 D-AIZK (5122) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Frankfurt today.
Malev B737 HA-LOP (29354), now EI-EUY, was the aircraft rolled out at Shannon yesterday in Transaero scheme (HA-LOL/EI-EUX has been in Transaero scheme since 2/3).
OLT Express. The ferry flight of Niki A320 OE-LEJ (5115) from Vienna to Ostrava, where it is to be painted as SP-IAI for OLT Express, was postponed until today.
Privilege, whose B752s are occasional visitors to Gatwick, is adding former Lagun Air EMB145 EC-KSS (145230 ex D-ACIR) to its fleet & it undertook an acceptance flight from/to Alverca today.
Ryanair B738 EI-EVO (40297) arrived at Dublin on delivery today.
Thomson A/W B738 G-TAWJ (38108) made its first flight yesterday.
Titan A/W. It has come to light that B733 G-ZAPZ (25401) suffered a tail strike on departure from Chambery on 14/4 while operating AWC76B to Gatwick, where the aircraft landed without incident. The Aviation Herald reports that damage to the aircraft was "substantial". It apparently left Gatwick on 21/4 for repair, but does anyone know where it went, please?

ROUTE NEWS
OLT Express. Another day & another route to be operated by this carrier to Gatwick! Starting in November, OLT Express will fly from Bydgoszcz (Poland's 8th largest city & looks to be a lovely place) on days 5 & 7 as JEA803 eta 07.30, etd 08.15 as JEA804.
