VISITORS
Nothing new at Gatwick today, just second visits from Wow Air A319 LY-VEU & Icelandair B752 TF-ISL both, coincidentally, arriving from Reykjavik &, in the early hours, from Denim Air F50 PH-KXX.

FLEET NEWS
EasyJet. Adding to yesterday, A319 G-EZAL (2754) is just at Southend for a routine repaint. HB-JZK (2319) is to become N301NV. I spoke too soon - A320 G-EZWG (5318) returned to us this morning after its brief flirtation with Liverpool.
Emirates B773 A6-ENB (41075) made its first flight on Tuesday.
Flybe E145s G-EMBW (145546) & G-EMBX (145573) are due to be ferried from Exeter to Bournemouth this weekend for painting for Bangladeshi operator Novoair.
Thomas Cook. Having flown its last revenue service on 7/9, B752 G-FCLC was cancelled from the register yesterday & is due for delivery to FedEx as N970FD.

ROUTE NEWS
EasyJet. Further to yesterday, the carrier's service from Gatwick to Moscow will operate twice daily to Moscow/Domodedovo with A320s & may be on a code share with Transaero.
Iceland Express. Effective yesterday, Wow Air replaced Holidays Czech A/L on the company's route from Reykjavik. (Wow Air is, of course, a paper airline with the actual carrier being Avion Express).

Norwegian Air Shuttle is to base three aircraft at Gatwick from this spring, increasing to four by the end of 2013, to increase frequencies on their Nordic routes & start new ones to Alicante, Barcelona, Dubrovnik, Faro, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Las Palmas, Montpellier, Nice, Palma, Rome/Fiumicino, Split & Tenerife. The "Orange One" will doubtless not be best pleased at the news!
