VISITORS
Sky Service Citation 525B OO-FYS (0197 ex D-CUUU) operating on an Abelag callsign arrived late this afternoon on its first visit. Departing at around the same time was AS350B G-JESI (1205 ex G-BHIV, G-VOLN, G-UNIC, G-RAHM, G-WILX, F-WQJY, F-SEBP, G-JOSS) registered to Staske Construction Ltd on what was its first recorded visit to us. Unfortunately, it does not show anywhere in the SBS log & I have assumed that it was using its registration as its callsign, unless anyone knows otherwise. Arriving about an hour late on the evening run from Dubai was our third newcomer, Emirates B773 A6-EGZ (41081).
Positioning in to operate for Thomas Cook were A320s EI-ERH & LY-COM, while BA Cityflyer E190 G-LCYM seems to have diverted in this evening en route (I think) from Jersey to LCY.

FLEET NEWS
Air Moldova A320 ER-AXT (0249) left Chisinau today bound for Winnipeg, possibly on return to the lessor.
EasyJet A320 G-EZWG (5318) really seems determined to mess us all about. Having returned to us yesterday morning from Liverpool as EZY9001, it promptly ferried back there three hours later as EZY9003 from where it operated one sector yesterday afternoon & a further one this morning. It then positioned back to Gatwick again at lunchtime today as EZY9001, staying for two hours this time before returning to Liverpool once more as EZY9003. It then flew from Liverpool to Geneva before operating an easyJet Switzerland flight to Paris/Orly. Apparently, it is due back here at 01.15 tomorrow morning as EZY9006!
Jet2 B752 G-LSAL (26967) was cancelled from the register yesterday prior to delivery to Allegiant as N904NV & was registered as such yesterday. G-LSAM (26966) was withdrawn from service at Faro on 13/10, ferried from there to Leeds/Bradford on 15/10 & then to Manchester on 17/10. It is due to go to Allegiant as N903NV.
Thomas Cook B752 G-FCLC (28166) left Manchester today as N970FD bound for Victorville on delivery to FedEx.

ROUTE NEWS
Norwegian Air Shuttle. Adding to yesterday, it is reported that by late summer 2013 the carrier's Gatwick services will have increased by 70% with up to 320 weekly flights serving 25 destinations.
