FLEET NEWS
Astraeus B752 G-STRY (28161) positioned in from LHR early yesterday afternoon as BMA9651 & is still present at Gatwick in its basic BMI scheme.
EasyJet. In case you missed yesterday's posting by Peter Stanbrook, the next three A319 deliveries from Finkenwerder are expected to be G-EZDX (3754) on 12/1, G-EZDY (3763) on 14/1 & G-EZDZ (3774) on 22/1. All should be delivered to Gatwick, though G-EZDY may go to Luton instead, & all have the customary eta of 15.30 & callsign of EZY8001.
Monarch A300 G-MONR (540) returned to Gatwick from Cairo today having been on lease to Egypt Air since 20th November.

Austrian A/L. No sign of the seasonal Saturday DHC-8 skiing flight starting yet - perhaps next weekend?

Finally, a snippet courtesy of the Aviation Herald, which may amuse.
Managers at North Central West Virginia airport chartered an airliner to perform three free sightseeing flights around their region on Sunday carrying about 400 citizens in order to take the annual passenger count at the airport above 10,000 for 2008. Getting above that mark will get the airport a $1 million US federal subsidy next year. The airport usually has two daily flights to Washington Dulles operated by a Colgan Air Saab 340.
