A319 G-EZGO (4785) made its first flight yesterday as D-AVYW. Luckily nobody seems to have noticed my bad maths yesterday - the carrier has a further 36 (not 37) A320s to be delivered.Emirates B773 A6-EGD (38988) made its first flight yesterday.Norwegian Air Shuttle B733 LN-KKT (27336) was ferried from Shannon to Lasham yesterday after painting all white.ROUTE NEWSNone today.MISCELLANEOUS ITEMSStill one day of June to go, but circumstances dictate that I must take my look back at the month today. As of now, we have seen 52 first visits during the month, up 12 on last June. This takes the total at the end of 2Q12 to 325, which compares very favourably to 277 by this time last year. June's total (so far) breaks down to 40 airliners, 10 biz jets & a pair of biz turbos. The total will increase by one biz jet if the expected Swiss Gulfstream 450 turns up tomorrow. Among our regular airlines, newcomers included three more new easyJets (one A319 & two A320s), eight Air Berlins (two A320s & six B738s), two Norwegian Air Shuttle B738s plus a Jet Time B733 & B734 operating on their behalf, two Pegasus B738s &, operating for Aerosvit, a Donbassaero A320 & Wind Rose A321. Other odds & ends from our usual carriers were an Aer Lingus A320, Fly Hellas A320, Thomsonfly B738, SAS B738 & Air Europa E195. A few subs included a VIA A320 & Corendon Dutch A/L B738 both for Tor Air, the latest Air Finland B752 for Strategic A/L & a Bulgarian Air Charter MD82 for Bulgaria Air. Al-Naser A/L showed us their own B734, while various one-offs included a Kingfisher A330 on diversion from LHR, Georgian A/W B735, Travel Service Hungary B738 & an Atlantic A/W B462. Sun Country provided a pair of new B738s on their seasonal Minneapolis service & Star Air have so far sent us two B762Fs on what is a new, if temporary, freight flight. The only new executive airliner was E135BJ D-ARTN, but three surprise military visitors were an Army Air Corps Defender & two French A/F TBM700s. Among the ten biz jets, Citation 560XLS EC-KPB & Gulfstream 5 HZ-MS5A are the only two that catch the eye. The Royal Air Force Museum has recently launched an appeal for members of the public to donate their unwanted military & aviation books & magazines to the Museum's shop. All donations will be examined by Museum staff, with any items that are of particular historic importance retained by the Museum for its archives - whilst those publications such as authorized biographies, aviation periodicals, historical novels, old aircraft magazines will be sold on to raise money for the Museum.Gulfstream 550 G-GRZD (5315) was registered to TAG Aviation yesterday.Due tomorrow:HB-JGB Gulf 4 eta 17.00 (first visit)OY-SRO B762F on SRR6977 assuming it continues to route via GatwickAnd some NAX flights - NAX14X/LN-KKO (also NAX18Z), NAX34G/LN-NOJ, NAX55YB/LN-NOV, NAX59ZA/LN-NOI, NAX351L/LN-NOD, NAX510G/LN-NOS, NAX512C/LN-NOI, NAX512J/LN-NOS, NAX1302/LN-DYA, NAX1306 LN-KHA (also NAX1310), NAX3522/LN-DYF, NAX5818/LN-DYKBefore anyone asks me, I haven't a clue what NAX are up to with their flight numbers.Very early warning for 4/7 - Turkmenistan A/L B737 EZ-A007 eta 06.55 as TUA3207, etd 09.20 the same day (one for me to miss!).THE NEXT ROUNDUP WILL APPEAR ON 12/7CREDITS Malcolm Baldry, Paul Giblin, the Stig, John Creasey, Colin Jones, Darren Matthews, Alan Edwards, Dave Broome, Tom Singfield, Neil Barnes, Mr Anon, Jethro, Skyliner, ATDB, Natasha Richardson & anybody else that I have forgotten.
