Today’s first visits were made by JetAlliance Citation 525A OE-FCY (0204) & Belavia B735 EW-252PA (26340 ex N19636, LY-AGZ).
As an aside, Rossiya RA-85770 (952) was on its first visit to Gatwick since August 2005.
Centralwings B734 SP-LLL (25164) made it second visit & KD Avia B733 EI-DJS (23926) its third.
With thanks to Ian Gawtrey, the two Delta B763s that I couldn’t trace yesterday were N183DN on DAL58 & N191DN on DAL36.
FLEET NEWS
Eurocypria. It is always dangerous to put two & two together!
C-GLBW (30671) actually returned to Eurocypria on 14
th May after its winter lease to Sunwing & was repainted in full ECA scheme. However, it is flown by a Canadian crew & retains its Canadian registration.
Flybe EMB145 G-EMBE (145042) was ferried from Exeter to Chateauroux yesterday for painting for Ukrainian operator Dniproavia. Interestingly, G-EMBD (145039) popped up on SBS on Friday for the first time since 30th November last year, so may have been on an air test. Like G-EMBE, it has been in storage at Exeter awaiting disposal.
Ghana A/W. Use of Titan B752 G-ZAPX (29309) on the Accra run was short-lived as Euro Atlantic B763 CS-TLO (24318) operated the flight yesterday & today.
Meridiana was using ex Alitalia MD-82 I-DAVB (49216) in an all-white scheme at Paris CDG yesterday.
Thomsonfly B735 G-THOC (24694) has become 4L-TGR with Air Zena Georgian A/L & was due to be delivered from Norwich to Tblisi today. G-THOD (24695) was noted at Luton in full Aeroflot scheme on Friday & is due to become VP-BXM. It was painted at East Midlands & I believe that this is actually going to Aeroflot-Nord who currently operate a large fleet of B735s.
XL A/W B738 F-HDXL (35279) was delivered to Paris CDG yesterday, but is due to fly to Lasham tomorrow for post-delivery work & is expected to emerge from the hangar as G-XLFR.
