Three more first visits to finish the month, with BD100 OE-HZP (20338) of International Jet Management arriving this morning, with the afternoon giving us Ryanair B738 EI-EVF (40291) from Seville & Falcon 7X HZ-SPAJ (136) of Saudia Private Aviation.
Unless it crept in while I was abroad recently, Ukraine International B735 UR-GAZ was on only its second Gatwick visit today (the first was on 02/07/11 when I was also out of the country).

FLEET NEWS
Aerosvit B738 UR-AAN (38119) was due to arrive at Kiev today on delivery.
Air Berlin A320 D-ALTH (1797) was delivered from Istanbul/Ataturk to Brussels on 28/3 for Brussels A/L & is due to become OO-SNC. D-ABFM (4478) was ferried from Dublin to Munich on 27/3 after painting for Air Corsica & is expected to become F-HDGK. D-ABFL (4463) was ferried from Munich to Dublin on 28/3 & is also to be painted for Air Corsica. B738 D-ABBD (30880) had been reregistered TC-IZF for Air Berlin Turkey by 29/3.
Air Europa B738 EC-LPR (36588) made its first flight on 22/3. The carrier is due to receive former Cyprus A332 5B-DBS (505) & it was ferried from Larnaca to Toulouse on 26/3 prior to delivery.
Air Malta A320 9H-AEF (2142) was ferried from Budapest to Malta on 29/3 after painting into OLT Express/Yes A/W scheme & is to become SP-IAD.
Atlantic A/W A319 OY-RCG (5079) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Vagar on 22/3.
British A/W A320 G-BUSK (0120), currently stored at Lourdes, was cancelled from the UK register on 21/3 as permanently withdrawn from use.
EasyJet A320 G-EZUN (5046) was delivered from Finkenwerder to Gatwick on 22/3. The next three are due to be delivered here next week as follows:
3/4 as EZY9003 eta 16.40
4/4 as EZY9001 eta 16.40
5/4 as EZY9001 eta 16.40
These should be G-EZUO (5052), G-EZUP (5056) & G-EZUR (5064), though I cannot confirm whether they will be delivered in sequence.
Recent first flights have been:

Emirates B773 A6-EGO (35598) was delivered from Paine Field to Dubai on 20/3. It is the 1000th B777 off the line.
Estonian Air B733 ES-ABK (28572), which was temporarily registered N4620F, was registered G-GDFK for Jet2 on 16/3. 
Freebird A320 TC-FBO (5096) made its first flight on 27/3 as F-WWIO.
Malev B738 HA-LOR (29355), recently reregistered EI-EUZ, was noted in full Transaero scheme at Shannon on 26/3 awaiting delivery.
Norwegian Air Shuttle B738 LN-DYY (39012) made its first flight on 20/3 & left Boeing Field on 29/3 on delivery to Oslo. B733 LN-KKQ (28658) was registered G-GDFG for Jet2 on 16/3.
Pegasus B738 TC-CPC (40878) left Boeing Field on delivery on 21/3.
RAM B738 CN-RGK (33073) arrived at Casablanca on delivery on 22/3. B735 CN-RMW (25364) left Casablanca on 27/3 for Greensboro, NC on return to the lessor.
Ryanair B738 EI-EVL (40299) arrived at Dublin on delivery on 24/3 & EI-EVN (40294) made its first flight on 23/3.
Spanair. A320s returning to Spain, but this time for operation by Vueling have been EC-LQN (2168 ex EC-IVG, EI-EUM) on 29/3 & EC-LQL (1749 ex EC-IEJ, EI-EUF) on 30/3, with both being ferried from Dublin to Barcelona. Others being acquired by Vueling will include EC-LQJ (1979 ex EC-INM, EI-EUK), EC-LQK (2589 ex EC-JNC, EI-EUP) & EC-LQM (2223 ex EC-IZK, EI-EUN). 
Strategic A/L A320 LX-STB (0436) was ferried from Chateauroux to Manchester on 29/3 following a short period of storage.
Thomas Cook A332 G-MLJL (254) was ferried from Helsinki to Manchester on 25/3 following winter lease to the Scandinavian subsidiary. B752 G-JMCD (30757) was restored to the register on 27/3 after winter lease to Jazz Air as C-GJZK.
Thomson A/W A320 G-OOPT (1605) has been painted all white & was ferried from Manchester to Kemble for storage on 28/3. B738 G-TAWG (37266) arrived at Manchester on delivery on 20/3. G-FDZG (35139) was restored to the register on 22/3 after winter lease to Sunwing as C-FRZG. G-FDZE (35137) arrived at Luton on 28/3 following winter lease to Sunwing A/L. G-CDZI (28229) was registered G-GDFJ for Jet2 on 19/3.
THY A321s TC-JRV (5077) & TC-JRY (5083) were delivered from Finkenwerder to Istanbul/Ataturk on 21/3.
Virgin Atlantic A333 G-VRAY (1296) was delivered from Toulouse to LHR on 30/3. B744 G-VROM (32339) was restored on 29/3 following its lease to AeroSur as CP-2603.

ROUTE NEWS
Air Nigeria is again threatening to start a Gatwick service. This time, it is reportedly to operate thrice weekly from 16/5 using an A330 leased from Egyptair.
Aurela is due to operate from here from 16/5. One aircraft will supposedly be based & as their fleet only comprises B733 Boeing 737 LY-SKW (25162), I guess that will be the one!

MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
I have been busy playing catch-up all day today after an enjoyable (except for the humidity) Aeroprints trip to the Far East. Thanks to all those who stepped into the breach while Mike Hooker & I were both away, one to the west of here & one to the east. Apologies if a lot of the news above is now old, but better to post something you already know than to miss something of note completely. I will also apologise for any errors while I recover from a mixture of jet lag & some sort of bug that decided to infest me on the long return leg.  

New biz jets joining the register recently have been HS125/900XP G-KLNE (HA-0186 ex N186XP) on 19/3 for Saxonair Charter along with CL604 G-OCOD (5562 ex VP-COD) for Hangar8 & Falcon 7X G-STMT (148) for TAG Aviation, both of which joined the register on 21/3. Leaving these shores was Citation 680 G-NSJS (0161), which was cancelled on 27/3 & registered N161SV the following day. 
 
A bit out of the area, but I will mention them anyway are B462 G-CGYV (E2279 ex OO-DJO) at Southend, which was registered on 28/3 & Donavia B735 VP-BLF (25232 ex F-GJNG) which was ferried to St Athan today for scrapping.
 
Thanks to Mr Anon for giving me the heads-up that Brighton is to host a EU Summit from 18/4 to 20/4. Around 500 delegates are expected to attend, so there is the possibility of a few additional biz jets visiting us.
