German regional and wet-lease carrier Cirrus Airlines has suspended its operations.
The Saarbrucken-based company is currently "evaluating its commercial future" and will issue more information later today, an airline employee told Flightglobal.
Flight operations were halted on 20 January and are not due to re-start until 29 January, according to the airline's website.
Cirrus operates a fleet of eight Dornier 328 turboprops and one Embraer 170 on a number of regional routes within Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as charter services.
Lufthansa had wet-leased the Embraer 170 but returned it a year ago at the end of the lease contract.
