Not personally but I once picked my brother and sister-in-law up from Birmingham airport to see a man in a pilot's uniform with a magnificent moustache come wondering past. I recognised him as Pablo Mason since I'd read his book when I was younger, I asked my brother about it and he didn't have a clue who he was but did confirm that "that bloke with the funny name and moustache had flown us home".
My wings are like a shield of steel.
I once saw Angus Deayton in Stanstead airport...It was after once of his tabloid shame expose thingys so he was a bit sheepish to say the least
i think i sat next the Dido and her mate in business class coming back from Hong Kong the other week. however she put the electronic sliding privacy screen up so quickly into the flight before i had a chance to say: "'Here darlin', don't i know you from somewhere?"
I once flew Manchester United FC. The cargo was worth more than the plane. Landing was very, very gentle.
Never flown with a celebrity, but I saw Sarah Ferguson (when she was Duchess of York) opening the Eurohub at Birmingham Airport.
My Mum was flying to Germany to visit family, and we couldn't understand why all the top level security was out for her that day. Suffice to say, her flight was delayed and we got chatting to some bigwig who was wearing a ministerial chain. He was astounded that my Mum was actually using the Eurohub as an airport!!
